Our Recipes
We treasure the Bay Area’s local food culture and shop almost exclusively at farmer’s markets for our salad ingredients. We feel it’s important to both financially support local farmers and do our part to reduce excessive fossil fuel consumption caused by long-distance transit of food. Whenever possible and if financially viable, we always encourage our customers to visit their local farmers market to do the same!
Kale and Red Cabbage
1 bunch dino kale cut finely or coarse depending on how you like it
Pinch of fine salt 1 tablespoon olive or avocado oil
½ lemon
½ red cabbage cut fine
2-3 spring/green onions
1 beet boiled in salted water and cubed
2-3 carrots cut into circles
1 ripe avocado
½ cup pumpkin seeds
½ cup hemp hearts
To a large bowl add the cut dino kale, salt, lemon and oil – massage well. Add all other ingredients. Dress with Farmor's Classic Mustard Vinaigrette.

Spinach, Green Cabbage
and Sweet Apple
5 large handfuls of baby spinach
½ green cabbage thinly cut
1 crisp apple
½ cup goat cheese crumbled
1 ripe avocado
½ cup Slivered almonds
Combine all ingredients. Dress with Farmor's Honey Mustard Vinaigrette.

Kalamata Olive and
Feta Pasta Salad
1 box pasta of choice
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 jar kalamata olives (drained)
10-12 cherry tomatoes
2-3 Persian cucumbers cut into rounds
2 bell peppers (orange and red are the sweetest) cut into chunks
1 cup feta crumbles or cut into cubes
Cook pasta according to directions on the box. Combine with olive oil and refrigerate for at least 30-60 minutes. Add all other ingredients. Dress with Farmor’s dressing of choice!

1/4 cup crumbled feta
1/4 cup chopped pecans
5 basil leaves cut in ribbons
Combine all ingredients.

Berry and Mango
3 handfuls mixed greens
3-4 sliced strawberries
1/2 sliced mango
1 handful blueberries
1/3 cup crumbled goat cheese
1/4 cup slivered almonds

Chicken Cobb Salad
1 bunch romaine
2 boiled ehhs
2 sliced cucumbers
5-10 cherry sliced cherry tomatoes
1/4 cup blue cheese crumbled
1 avocado cubed
1 cup boiled corn
1 grilled chicken breast
Combine all ingredients.
Dress with Farmor's Classic Mustard Vinaigrette

1/2 bunch romaine
1/2 bunch curly kale
1/2 lemon
Pinch of salt
1/2 tbs olive oil
5 early girl tomatoes
1 cubed avocado
1/8 cup pumpkin seeds
Freshly grated parmesan cheese on top to taste
Massage the cut curly kale with lemon, salt and olive oil - about 30-60 seconds.
Combine remaining ingredients. Dress with Farmor's newest flavor: Zesty Lemon Vinaigrette - exclusively available at Farmer's Markets. Add freshly grated parmesan on top!

The JUICIEST Grilled Chicken
2-3 chicken breasts
1/2 cup whole fat yogurt
1/3 cup Honey Mustard Vinaigrette
Marinate chicken in yogurt and dressing for 1 hour in the refrigerator. Grill to 165 F and serve warm.
